U.S. Investor Visas |
U.S. investor visas are ideal options for obtaining permanent residency in the United States, expanding an existing company into the U.S. market, or establishing a startup in the States. Currently, there are two investment visas available under U.S. immigration law: the E-2 visa and the EB-5 visa.

E-2 Treaty Investor VisaThe E-2 Treaty Investor Visa is a nonimmigrant visa, which does not lead to permanent residency (Green Card status) in America. Obtainable with a modest investment, the E-2 investor visa allows the individual investor or investor company to live and work temporarily in the United States for the duration of the visa's validity. This visa may be renewed indefinitely. Click the link to learn more about the E-2 Investor Visa.
EB-5 Immigrant Investor VisaThe EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa is an immigrant visa, which leads directly to a Green Card. As such, there is no need to 'upgrade' to an immigration status that grants permanent resident status at a later date. The EB-5 visa requires a $1,050,000 investment, which may be reduced to $800,000 under certain circumstances. Click the link to learn more about the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa.
The Barella Global AdvantageIndividuals or companies wishing to expand into the U.S. market can utilize investor visas. Barella Global will assess your and your business' needs, and advise on the most suitable U.S. investor visa based on your immigration goals and individual circumstances. Often, potential clients contact our office for information on a visa category they researched online, only to find out there's an alternative visa that better suits their needs.
Following the assessment, our U.S. immigration lawyer will develop a strategy for your case. Once Barella Global has been retained, our team will send instructions for the documentation and information we need to prepare the submission. We advise initiating the process for your U.S. company expansion or move to the States at least six months before your ideal arrival date. Certain visa categories, given current processing times for USCIS and various US embassies and consular posts, should begin planning even sooner.
