K-1 Fiancé/Fiancée Visa |
The K-1 Fiance/Fiancee visa enables U.S. citizens to sponsor their foreign national fiancé(e) for a visa, allowing them to enter the U.S. for the purpose of marriage.
To qualify, both individuals must be legally free to marry and have met in person at least once within the last two years. After petition approval, the foreign national fiancé(e) may then apply for the visa. Upon entering the U.S., the couple is required to marry within 90 days. After the wedding, the foreign national fiancé(e) can apply to adjust their status and become a U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder). For more information on sponsoring a foreign national fiancé(e), contact our office to schedule a consultation. We assist U.S. citizens in securing K-1 visas for their foreign national fiancé(e) at major U.S. embassies in the UK, Europe, and throughout the world. |
