K-1 Fiancé(e) Visa
The K-1 Fiancé(e) visa allows a US citizen the opportunity to sponsor their foreign national fiancé(e) for a visa specifically intended for them to enter the US in order to marry their US citizen partner.
Provided both parties are legally free to marry and have met at least once in person within the past two years, the foreign national fiancé(e) may apply for the visa following approval of the petition.
Once inside the US, the couple must marry within 90-days.
Following the marriage, the foreign national fiancé(e) will apply to adjust their status in order to become a US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
For additional information regarding sponsoring your foreign national fiancé(e) contact our office to arrange a consultation.
